About Us

Automobilia.co.uk was first considered as a project way back in 1996. The name was a catchy name and the owner of the name at the time, Russell Hogg, was a huge classic car fan and an Internet Consultant for one of the UK's largest banks.

Over the next few years, Russell left working for the bank and launched his own companies and one of these, Expatations Ltd, purchased the business idea and developed this website into what it is today.

In Spring 2007, we eventually took the site live...nearly 9 years after first considering our idea and the technology has obviously hugely changed since then. Things we wouldn't even have been able to imagine then we are now doing.

Please enjoy this website, it's intended to bring the buzz of an autojumble with the convenience of the internet together in one place. And one thing is for sure...it won't take another 9 years for us to start our next project!
